This pizza is incredible and by far deserves a well known reputation! The crust is simply perfect, rustic, fire kissed...and the unique toppings are just divine, farmers market fresh and handled with love. It's like a Bella Ciao dance in every bite! Staff is friendly and the experience was fantastic for a Saturday afternoon lunch!

Very nice food truck with a lovely outdoor eating space. After reading reviews, we drove from Spring Branch just to eat here and WOW!! we were so glad we did. Absolutely delicious! We had the O.G. sandwich and a pepperoni pizza. You can taste that the ingredients are REAL and see that they're fresh. The pizza dough...OH MY GOODNESS, legit and nothing short of perfection. I've eaten pizza at multiple spots in Rome, Italy and I can honestly say that none of them were as good as Pizza Volterra. I'm so glad I don't have to travel to Italy to get (what I thought was) legit pizza! I will happily drive 40 minutes from Spring Branch anytime. In fact, my son's baseball season starts next week and it just so happens that practices will be in Boerne 2x/week. Heck ya...I know where we'll be eating dinner! Can't wait to try the Carne Diem next. Wish I had pictures to include but as soon as we got our food, it was gone before I could get my phone out. Next time! Well done, Pizza Volterra. Please don't change a thing!

SO AMAZING. This is the second time i’ve seen them at Oak of boerne. Each time i’ve been met with friendly workers and tasty food. Don’t skip out on this pizza. If you don’t have room in your tummy- ask for the pizza to go! You won’t regret it

Volterra is hands down the best pizza in Boerne. The crust is out of this world — light, crispy on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle, with that perfect wood-fired flavor you can’t fake. I’ve got a gluten sensitivity and usually regret pizza, but not here. No issues at all, which tells me they’re using clean ingredients and doing things the right way. The sauce tastes like real tomatoes, not the canned or over-seasoned stuff. The cheese blend is spot-on — rich but not greasy. Everything about it feels balanced and intentional. But what really stood out was the staff. Every single person was friendly, genuine, and made me feel like I’d been coming there for years. You can tell they actually enjoy what they do — there’s an energy about the place that’s just different. And the gelato… incredible. Smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. It’s the perfect finish. I’m already planning to come back tomorrow. Boerne’s got a gem here.
AMAZING!! OMG!! Definitely the best pizza in Boerne. I ordered the mushroom pizza(Il Fungo), which is full of rich flavors and the Panouzzo Which is equally as good. I just asked to hold the meat for a great vegetarian option on the sandwhich:) also PLEASE get the gelato you will not regret it, it’s genuinely my favorite gelato I’ve ever had. I tried every flavor but I have to say the peanut butter one is my favorite. Will come back again and again
My family stopped in for a quick bite to eat today. The food was phenomenal!! I was hesitant at first when we pulled up to a good truck, do it!!! Best Pizza I think I have ever had. The flavor was top notch. And the caprese salad was fresh and honestly divine! I dipped my pizza crust in the oil from my salad afterwards. Ate every single bite. 10 out of 10 will go back again.
A must try place just outside the Oak! We loved the pizza, salad, gelato, and espresso. The crust is fantastic and the ingredients are of high quality. Customers are not required to be members of the Oak to eat outside and online ordering is available for dine in take away. We look forward to trying the sandwiches soon!
